Redeemer Lutheran’s Friendship Trek
Jesus, our Forever Friend
June 23-27, 2008

           Grab your gear and join the Friendship Trek, an amazing hike through the Bible to meet Jesus, our Forever Friend. 
Kids find fun, faith, and friends at our Friendship Trek.
They experience Jesus’ friendship, enjoy meeting old and new friends, and learn to care for one another.
They will enjoy crafts and games as well!

           Kids explore five friend filled Bible stories about Jesus. 
They run to follow Jesus as He reaches out to a new friend named Matthew. 
They go along as Centurion’s friends ask Jesus to heal the man’s servant – and He does! 
They traipse to the temple as Jesus heals a blind friend, then go to Bethany to see Jesus raise his friend Lazarus from the dead. 
Finally, they scurry to a locked room on Easter evening to witness the ultimate love Jesus showed by giving His life for His friends.

           We will be donating items to the Hereford Food Bank as well as a mission project with the
Lutheran World Relief (more details to follow). 
 
           Our closing ceremony will be a Campfire and Cookout at our Pavilion Friday Night June 27 at 6pm.
Join us for fellowship and fun and meet you’re your children’s new friends.

Our time for our Friendship Trek is 8:45 am until 12:00.
